THE STORY BEHIND SKYHOOD

An idea born under an open sky

Astronomy should feel like an invitation, wherever you begin.

From a final-year project to a personal observatory.

SkyHood began as “Explore Infinity & Beyond,” a BS Computer Science project by Muhammad Waris and Muhammad Shahzad at Government College No. 1, Dera Ismail Khan, supervised by Prof. Ehsanullah Khan.

SkyHood Nova builds on that purpose with a new codebase and a different experience: a place to learn the science, understand the sky above your own location, and keep a record of what you discover.

Made for curiosity. Grounded in evidence.

We distinguish a calculated position from a forecast, a source image from an illustration, and an observation from an interpretation. Astronomy is more interesting when we can see how we know what we know.

The academy welcomes beginners and includes practical pathways for Pakistani students interested in space science and scientific computing.
